A fresh batch of 170 beneficiaries of the Government Internship Program (GIP) recently underwent an orientation at Embarcadero de Legazpi.
An initiative of Ako Bicol PartyList, in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE- ALBAY), GIP aims to provide opportunities and engage workers to serve in government agencies.
The project also gives beneficiaries opportunities to showcase their skills, especially those who want to pursue a career in public service.
The event was attended by Ako Bicol Congressman Alfredo A. Garbin, Jr. and DOLE staff.
