The staff of Ako Bicol Regional Headquarters actively participated in the Mental Health Awareness Seminar organized by Sunwest Care Foundation, Inc. last October 29, 2019 in the Embarcadero De Legazpi Function Hall in Legazpi City. Ms. Cherrie O. Oringo, the resource person for the said event shared some vital insights on how to deal with workplace depression. According to Ms. Oringo, dealing with workplace depression requires immediate identification of red flags in our co-workers. Employees suffering from depression and anxiety must be given the opportunity to be listened and understood in order for them to know that they are cared for — which will leave them open to appropriate interventions. Ultimately, a good workplace support group results to a positive and happy employee.
