In a joint effort, Ako Bicol and the Rotary Club of Legazpi Central conducted a Tree Planting and Coastal Cleanup Activity last Saturday, September 7, 2019 in Barangay Sogod, Tiwi, Albay.
Barangay Sogod was badly hit by landslides when Typhoon Usman affected the Bicol region last December 25-28, 2018. Ako Bicol will continue to support initiatives that will protect the environment because it recognizes the reality of climate change and how it impacts the lives of Bicolanos.
