Ako Bicol BRTTH Coordinator Elvie Cedeño, visits the diabetic and stroke patients inside the Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital (BRTTH) as part of her daily routine. Aside from being Ako Bicol’s representative in the said medical facility, she also conducts regular interviews with the patients and families as to better know their needs.
According to her, connecting with them provides comfort and helps lessen their burdens caused by their hardships. Ako Bicol has been in long partnership with BRTTH and with the establishment of the Malasakit Center, Ako Bicol and its services is now accessible as ever.
