Following the devastation brought by Typhoon Usman, Ako Bicol Party List Rep. Alfredo A. Garbin, Jr. led the clearing operations in Tiwi, Albay by providing heavy equipment to make the clearing and transfer of uprooted trees and fallen debris easier and faster. He also initiated the distribution of loaves of bread to indigent families across the affected area, reaching out to vulnerable families.
“It was a place of despair after hundreds of families lost their homes, but it is not enough reason to leave the victims behind and let them withstand the situation all by themselves. We had to do something and do our part, leading efforts that will ease their sufferings”. – Cong. Garbin
