Mayon Volcano’s continued rumbling has forced thousands of people into shelters, destroying properties, and disrupting livelihood. In response, Deputy Minority Leader and Ako Bicol Party List Rep. Alfredo A. Garbin, Jr., in partnership with Ms. Wen Velasco’s Pilipinong may Puso Foundation, facilitates another relief operation today to distribute food packs that can feed affected families in the next few days at EM’s Elementary School for the residents of Brgy. Bigaa, Legazpi City. Mayor Noel E. Rosal was also present during the program and personally helped in the distribution.
Programs like this may provide only but temporary relief, but the mere presence of people ready to lend a hand in the midst of turmoil makes the real difference.
