In celebration of the Elderly Filipino Week, AKO Bicol Rep. Rodel Batocabe joined the Coalition of Services of the Elderly, Inc. to promote the Universal Social Pension bill which is currently in the House Committee on Population and Family Relations. The AKO Bicol Partylist is the main proponent of the House Bill 5038 which seeks coverage of all senior citizens to a state pension.
Also present in the event are Senator Risa Hontiveros, and Seniors CitizensPL Representative Mila Aquino-Magsaysay.
