Thousands of local and international triathletes gathered early today to participate in one of the country’s biggest and most scenic races: Mt. Mayon Triathlon: Asian Cup 2017.
Among the participants was Deputy Minority Leader and Ako Bicol Party List Alfredo A. Garbin, Jr., along with other sports enthusiasts, who braved to race and conquer the 21-kilometer course over the exotic lava hills, volcanic rock formations and small streams emanating from the world-known and Bicol’s pride – Mayon Volcano.
Kudos to all the triathletes across the world and to the organizers, led by Legazpi City Mayor Noel E. Rosal, who continue to innovate and aspire for a world-class international triathlon!
