Deputy Minority Leader and Ako Bicol Party List Representative Alfredo A. Garbin, Jr. joins the hearing by the House Committee on Transportation meant to finally set rules and regulations over the application-based taxi firms that are classified under the Transport Network Vehicle Sevices (TNVS), like Uber and Grab.
The committee aims to strike a balance between the needs of the riding public and the livelihood among the traditional taxicabs and other Public Utility Vehicles (PUVs), and to address the people’s clamor for an efficient and safe public transport.
