AKO BICOL Party List Rep. Alfredo A. Garbin, Jr. continues with his social commitment towards quality and accessible education as he personally turned-over hundreds of textbooks and supplementary materials to students of Banquerohan Elementary School, Legazpi City on Friday, March 24, 2017.
Dubbed as “Aklat sa Kaunlaran ng Bicol”, the series of book-distribution is a commitment between Ako Bicol Party List and Children International, Inc., a program envisioned to reintegrate the culture of reading among students despite the modern and advanced technology of today. The program aims to encourage more students to take continued interest in education and realize its importance in molding one’s character as they continue to chase after their dreams and build a better future ahead of them.
