The awarding for the Ten Outstanding Students of Bicol 2017 took place last March 9 at the Bicol University Legazpi campus, with the awardees hailing from various universities and colleges in the region. Senator Sonny Angara graced the event as the guest of honor and keynote speaker, who congratulated the next set of TOSB for their exemplary track records in leadership, academics, and service.
AKO BICOL Rep. Rodel Batocabe conferred the various certificates and plaques to the top ten.
There were also distinctions sponsored by the Alliance of Youth Organizations and Students (AYOS-Bicol) and Sunwest Construction and Development Corporation.
Also present in the ceremony were Legazpi City Mayor Noel Rosal, BU College of Arts and Letters Dean Maria Sarte, and BU VP for Administration Amelia Dorosan.
