Rep. Rodel Batocabe, with support from fellow AKO BICOL Representatives Christopher Co and Alfredo Garbin, spearheaded the first of a series of Medical and Dental Mission and Health Awareness Programs in Daraga National High School which successfully catered to more than 4000 students.
Rep. Batocabe, who is a native of Daraga, believes that part of his primary duty as a public servant is to provide affordable and quality health care to the people of his hometown, especially the youth.
He encouraged the students to study hard, attesting that the easiest, cheapest and honorable way to fight poverty and move up the socio-economic ladder is through education, success will be inevitable.
Teachers and students alike were also very grateful to receive an internet ready, high-definition 46″ LED TV for the use of students in interactive learning from Rep. Batocabe.
The event was also made possible through the support of the Provincial Office of Albay and the Department of Health.
