AKO BICOL Party List Representative Alfredo A. Garbin, Jr. personally turned-over hundreds books as part of Ako Bicol’s educational program “Aklat sa Kaunlaran ng Bicol” on Friday, February 3, at Marcial O. Rañola Memorial School (MORMS), Guinobatan, Albay.
The program is a commitment in partnership with Children International Inc., where books and other supplementary reading materials were distributed to the school-beneficiary to further strengthen public education through the improvement of library services that can sufficiently provide for the needs of the students especially in the rural areas where opportunities for school modernization seldom come.
The program, under “Tabang sa Edukasyon”, is aimed to promote quality education among students and inspire them to take continued interest in their studies as they strive to achieve their dreams and aspirations in life.
