AKO BICOL Party List Representative and Deputy House Minority Leader Alfredo Garbin, Jr., in cooperation with Pilipinong may Puso Foundation through Ms. Wen Velasco, led another relief distribution operation on Friday, December 30, at Brgy. Ubaliw, Polangui, Albay following Supertyphoon Nina’s landfall on Christmas day.
“It has always been our mandate to respond to the needs of the people especially during natural disasters, assisting them to get back on their feet after losing their homes and hard-earned properties. It is only through people’s generosity and selflessness that we create stronger communities through continued social engagement leading us towards regional development”, Rep. Garbin said.
The family food packs distributed can sufficiently feed thousands of people in the next few days. This is but a genuine effort in delivering essential survival requirements to people in desperate situations in the aftermath of a natural disaster.
