In light of the recent events with regard to the alleged illegal drug trade in the New Bilibid Prison (NBP), AKO BICOL Party List Representative and Deputy House Minority Leader Alfredo A. Garbin Jr. appeared in a live interview segment of “The Source” on CNN Philippines, hosted by the seasoned anchor and correspondent Pinky Webb, to talk about the House voting on NBP probe.

Rep. Garbin said, “While it is imperative to look into the core of these issues about the illegal drug trade, we also have to give utmost attention on how we could decongest the NBP because it can also be a contributing factor in the continued drug menace inside and in the country in general.”
