Rep. Rodel Batocabe attended the hearing with the Committee on Dangerous Drugs of the House of Representatives and the Dangerous Drugs Board regarding several bills establishing drug rehabilitation centers nationwide.
AKO BICOL Party-list authored one of the bills being discussed, House Bill No. 132 or An Act Providing for the Establishment of Drug Rehabilitation Centers in Every Legislative District of the Country, Under the Supervision of the Department of Health, Providing Funds Therefor, And for Other Purposes. Rep. Batocabe also proposed a community-based program of support as an alternative instead of costly rehabilitation centers.
