Ako Bicol Representative Rodel Batocabe finally meets Jezrelle Napod, a graduating student from Bicol University, who wrote a letter to the Congressman, asking for financial assistance in her studies.
Rep. Batocabe was intrigued and touched by a letter sent by the student, and promptly sought to help her out. And today, Rep. Batocabe once again affirms the partylist’s primary advocacy of ensuringaccess to affordable, quality and well-rounded education.
Rep. Batocabe also vowed to help other affected families like the Napods who were affected by the delayed construction of the Southern Luzon International Airport. The Napods were one of the countless families whose lands were acquired by the government supposedly in exchange for just compensation, which until now has not yet been fulfilled.
Jezrelle, who is taking up BS Management in the College of Business, Economics and Management, was determined to graduate despite her family’s financial difficulties due to the loss of livelihood from their lands and despite being informed that official AKB programs for educational assistance was already closed, resolved to seek help from Rep. Batocabe himself.
Goodluck Jezrelle! Ako Bicol sincerely hopes that our assistance would be instrumental in helping you achieve your dreams! We look forward to your graduation next semester!
