Ako Bicol, during its Christmas Party, recently awarded Onrang-Andurog to Director Nathaniel Lacambra of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region 5 in light of his office’s invaluable cooperation in implementing partnerships geared to provide employment opportunities to every Bicolano.

Andurog-Bicol, is a special award given by Ako Bicol to an official of a government office based in Bicol who gave valuable aid and support in the mission to provide sustainable programs and opportunities to combat poverty and improve the socio-economic condition of the Bicol Region.

This is an expression of deep gratitude and a symbol of genuine friendship extended in recognition of the valuable contributions that he gave in the ultimate objective of changing the lives of Bicolanos for the better.

Andurog, a Bicol term which means help/assist/be one with, is a disposition that each of us should imbibe within our hearts and minds, as we seek to move as one in order to make the Bicol Region and the Philippines a better place to live in.
